welcome to Earth.
May not be my last,
but you’ll always be my first.”
Sturgill Simpson,
Welcome to Earth (Pollywog)

While one might expect a post written shortly after their birth to solely focus on them, I’m taking a bit of a different approach here. There will…

Our Little Avocado

By on August 6, 2016

It’s Saturday (ahem, Dadurday), August 6th, and it seems as good a time as any to get started on this.

On Monday, we’ll be 16 weeks into the pregnancy, and according to “The Bump” app, you’ll have grown from the size of an orange to an avocado.

You’re apparently also beginning to hear us at this…

At the time of starting this blog, I am a 32-year-old teacher, husband and (very excited) father-to-be. Each Saturday, I will be posting a picture and brief video chronicling our lives together as a family, along with writing about our various adventures and my experiences of fatherhood whenever inspiration strikes.
